Jo and Chris on Just The Two Of Us
After a nail-biting end to Friday’s (3rd March) show that saw Jo and Chris beat Penny and Curtis to go through to the Semi Final, the duo’s luck finally ran out when the public voted eventual winners Sian and Russell through to the final.
Jo and Chris’ final four performances were ‘We’ve Got Tonight’ and ‘Beyond The Sea’ on Friday and ‘Would I Lie To You’ and S Club’s ‘Never Had A Dream Come True’ in Saturday’s final.
So, victory wasn’t quite their’s, but finishing a very respectable third after some wonderful performances was a great effort indeed.
Those of you who have been watching the BBC 1 show ‘Just The Two Of Us’, will have been thrilled to see Jo and her singing partner – Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain – get through the first four shows to make it to the second week.
To ensure that Jo and Chris stay in the competition and eventually even win it, they’re counting on your votes.
So far the couple have made it through the opening rounds at the expense of Gaby Roslyn and Martin Fry, Fiona Bruce and Alexander O’Neal and Matt Allwright and Jocelyn Brown.
To date, Jo and Chris have performed versions of Extreme’s ‘More Than Words’, Stevie Wonder’s ‘As’, Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ and ‘A Whole New World’ from the musical ‘Aladdin’.
